PaidHarbor is built local-first: the invoices, receipts, and calculations you create stay in your browser's local storage by default. This page explains exactly what data we collect and why.
What stays on your device
Business details, invoice line items, client information, and calculator inputs are stored in your browser's local storage (prefixed `phb:`) unless and until you choose to create an account for Pro features like cross-device sync.
What we collect
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page views, feature usage) to understand which tools are useful — this respects Do Not Track and never includes the contents of your invoices or documents. If you contact support or submit feedback, we retain the email and message you provide in order to respond.
Optional accounts (Pro)
If you upgrade to a paid plan, your account is keyed to your email address so you can access your data (like saved clients and recurring invoices) from multiple devices, capped at a small number of registered devices per subscription. Billing is processed by Polar, our payment provider — we do not store your card details.
Third parties
We use Polar for billing, and may use Resend for transactional email (like invoice reminders you set up). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your choices
You can clear all locally stored PaidHarbor data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. If you have an account, contact us to request deletion.
